PROFESSIONAL FOOT CARE
IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME

Looking after our feet is important to maintain comfort
and mobility but this is frequently easier said than done,
particularly as we get older.

Our mission is to provide a reliable and
professional service to clients in their homes.
You can contact us on: 01258 820203

Coronavirus information as at 21st March 2020

In the light of the government’s announcement yesterday evening, Blackmore Vale Foot Care is suspending it’s service from today, Saturday the 21st of March.

No visits will be made, but we will be in contact over the next few days with everyone who has booked appointments up to Friday the 17th of April. The situation will be reviewed frequently and we will contact clients after the 17th of April if necessary.

Caroline, Rosie, Anna and Gillian are very sorry to have to do this but, to help to slow the spread of the virus and to protect clients and ourselves, felt this action to be necessary.

*However, should any client have concerns please do get in touch on 01258 820203 and we will do our best to help.

With very best wishes and hoping this will be over before too long,

Caroline, Rosie, Anna and Gillian.

Our Services

We provide treatment and advice for the following conditions :-
null

Diabetic Foot Care

It’s very important to look after your feet if you have diabetes as it can reduce the blood supply to your feet and cause a loss of feeling.
null

Corn Removal

When corns appear on weight-bearing areas of the foot, the pressure caused by the corn can make them very uncomfortable and quite painful to walk on.
null

Callus Reduction

Calluses are hard, thickened areas of skin. They are often found around the heel or under the ball of the foot as these areas take most weight when you walk.
null

Cracked Heels

Dry, cracked heels can be a source of pain and can look unsightly. Cracked heels are usually caused by dry, thickened skin splitting under pressure.
null

Nail Trimming/Thinning

Our nail cutting service is available to those who have impaired eyesight, reduced mobility because of arthritic changes, or an inability to reach their feet.
null

Ingrown Toenails

This develops when the sides of the toenail grow into the surrounding skin. The big toe is most commonly affected. The nail curls and pierces the skin, which becomes swollen.
null

Fungal Toenails

They’re not usually serious, but can be unpleasant and difficult to treat. The infection develops slowly and causes the nail to become thickened and distorted.
null

Athletes Foot

Athlete’s foot is caused by a fungus that usually appears between or under the toes or the bottom of the feet.
